Hi Gustav! What does a typical day look like in your role?
It's a great mix of working closely with our portfolio companies, exploring acquisitions, and developing future business areas for Latour. That means board meetings, business reviews, and one-to-ones with my fantastic team.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
My long-gone flexibility. I could do the splits when I did Taekwondo, now I can barely touch my knees.

Favorite way to unwind after work?
To stay active, I have three teenage kids who keep me busy with all their sports activities. And when summer arrives, there’s nothing better than unwinding on the boat.

The Latour Industries team visited our newest portfolio company, Alstor, for a hands-on site visit - and let's just say we didn't leave disappointed.

We got behind the controls, put the harvesters through their paces in forest conditions, and by the end of the day the verdict was unanimous: we're sold.

The team at Alstor has built something truly impressive - not just in terms of engineering and performance, but in the passion and expertise that drive everything they do.

Q1 highlights from Latour Industries ????

Order intake came in slightly below last year (adjusted for acquisitions), reflecting mixed demand across our business units.

Net sales grew 4.5% in the quarter. Adjusted for acquisitions and FX, net sales were down 1.9%.

Adjusted operating profit was lifted by strong performances from REAC, MAXAGV and Alstor.

On the M&A side, we welcomed Alstor to the group during Q1, and Densiq completed the acquisition of Scandinavian Sealing in January.

Hi Åsa! What does a typical day look like in your role?

I’d say the best part of my job is that there’s no such thing as a “typical” day. I’m naturally curious and hands‑on, so I jump into anything - from helping colleagues with everyday challenges to stepping in as a mover or even an amateur plumber.

One thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
Probably how many businesses I’ve run - everything from a hair salon and a yarn shop to my own casino.

Favorite way to unwind after work?
Dinner out - always. I love settling in at a cosy restaurant with friends or family. And in summer? Golf, without a doubt.

Hi Marcus! What does a typical day look like in your role?
Most days are a mix of different things – meetings with companies we’re interested in acquiring, analyzing businesses in ongoing structured sales processes, board meetings, and driving projects within companies currently in Latour Industries’ portfolio.

What advice would you give to someone starting in your field?
Be likable. Be proactive and try to solve things on your own first, but don’t hesitate to discuss and ask questions early.

Favorite way to unwind after work?
Honestly, I don’t unwind much after work. That’s usually when the “real” job begins - three young kids, activities, and building a new house. It’s a lot of fun,
but definitely not very relaxing.
